Pitcher of Record.

You may wonder why I picked the name for my Blog that I did. But then you might not. There is not any real deep reasoning behind it. Nothing profound, nothing that would be the reason for hours of conversation. And as everyone has already assumed, the name has to do with baseball. In every game there are two pitchers of record. A pitcher that is recorded as the winning pitcher, and one as the losing pitcher. There are two other records kept in the game of baseball for pitchers, though they are not always recorded in all games. Saves and Holds. However the pitchers that acquire these records are not call "The Pitcher of record", I thought it best to explain that to my already asleep readers.
